Mizzou LB Luke Lambert Out Two Games After Sprained Knee Against Texas A&M

Mizzou's defense takes another hit defensively.

LB Luke Lambert sprained his knee against Texas A&M and will miss two games, head coach Gary Pinkel told reporters on Monday.

Mizzou's defense is playing outstanding at this point. It's even better once you look at this from this view, via Rock M Nation:

That means that the very earliest that Aldon Smith, Luke Lambert, Will Ebner and Jasper Simmons will have been on the field at the same time in 2010 will be the Texas Tech game, the ninth game of the year.

Incredible.

Something tells me Mizzou will be able to handle Lambert's injury but it couldn't come at a worse time before the hardest stretch of the season -- Oklahoma and at Nebraska.
