For you Chiefs fans, I suppose this would be similar to "Patriot Week", if there were such a thing. The Royals on Friday will start a three-game set with the Braves.
Some of these Royals will be familiar to the Braves since Dayton Moore has shown a propensity to his former franchise.
It's not just Moore that's connected to the Braves. Ned Yost was hired by Braves manager Bobby Cox 22 years ago.
"It's fun playing in Atlanta after all the years I was there and it's fun seeing Bobby. Yeah, it's fun managing against him. That's where I live so the ticket list is out of control, which is a pain, but I enjoy seeing Bobby more than anything else," Yost said.
Yost was previously in the National League when he'd make several trips a year to Atlanta. I would imagine his ticket request is even longer now that he's in the American League.
