Royals Leading The Yankees

Alex Rodriguez hit his 500th home run against Kyle Davies and the Royals. 99 home runs later and he had a chance to repeat history.

That time never came as A-Rod went 1-for-4 and Davies was awarded the 7-4 victory.

The Royals jumped out to a 6-0 lead and appeared to be cruising until the Yankees put on a mini-run scoring two runs in both the fourth and fifth inning. Robinson Tejeda eventually came in and pitched two key scoreless innings.
