Danario Alexander Workout Is Wednesday, Hopes To Be In Training Camp

Danario Alexander confirmed that he would workout for NFL teams on Wednesday in Houston.

Alexander is coming back from his third knee surgery. He suffered the injury right before the NFL Combine causing him to miss the league's annual workout for college players.

His injury also caused him to go undrafted despite being one of the NCAA's top receivers in 2009.

Alexander has amped up his workouts since being cleared by doctors and recently recorded 40-yard dash times of 4.41 and 4.44 seconds, which were both faster than the 4.45 time that was the best he recorded at Mizzou.

"My body is feeling pretty good," he said. "I'm in shape physically. There are certain things mentally I have to get over, but I'm feeling pretty good about myself right now."

He's hoping to sign with a team as soon as possible. The Rams have publicly expressed interest. A Bears scout is running his workout.
