Shortly after the 2010 NFL draft, Eric Berry was fourth among all rookies in jersey sales. For the month of April, veterans included, Berry ranked 18th, which is particularly impressive considering he was drafted in the last week of the month.
Now, with a bigger sample size from April 1 to June 30, according to Darren Rovell of CNBC, Berry remains at 18th in NFL jersey sales.
Three other quarterbacks — Peyton Manning, Tony Romo and Brett Favre — round out the top six in offseason sales.
Four other rookies are in the top 20, including Ndamukong Suh (No. 8), Sam Bradford (No. 9), Dez Bryant (No. 15) and Eric Berry (No. 18).
Donovan McNabb and his new Redskins jersey along with Drew Brees and the Super Bowl winning Saints are two and three on the list.
Number one?
Here's a hint: He's now a quarterback for the Broncos and his name isn't Kyle Orton.
