Zack Greinke finally gets the W.
Last week Greinke gave up one run in eight innings and lost. This time around he once again gave up just one run through six innings but the Royals offense came around for the win.
The Royals topped the Indians 2-1 in the first of a three-game series in Kansas City.
Greinke gave up five hits and walked three.
Joakim Soria continued his franchise leading consecutive saves streak.
The Royals two runs came off of solo home runs from Wilson Betemit and Yuniesky Betancourt.
Kila Ka'aihue also went 2-for-4 with a double.

Zack Greinke is taking the mound for the Kansas City Royals as he tries to improve on his 7-11 record. Greinke is sporting a 3.99 ERA.
His last outing was superb as he went eight innings and gave up one run against the Anaheim Angels. Of course the Royals scored just one run and the game went to extras where they eventually lost.
Such is Greinke's luck.
The Indians will be trotting out Jeanmar Gomez, a 22-year old right hander with a 1.54 ERA and a 3-0 record.
Here's how the Royals are batting in the first game.
