Rams Announce Signing Of Former Mizzzou WR Danario Alexander

The Danario Alexander sweepstakes are over.

OK, there was only one seriously interested team so it wasn't quite a sweepstakes.

After visiting at least St. Louis and Seattle, Alexander has chosen the Rams, a move the team announced on Sunday.

Alexander was arguably the most explosive receiver in NCAA last year with the Missouri Tigers catching 113 balls for over 1,700 yards.

However, knee injuries have derailed his first-round talent. He's had at least three knee surgeries including once last February that made him undraftable.

Now he's a member of the Rams with training camp only days from being over.
