Chiefs LB Demorrio Williams Talks About LB Cameron Sheffield's Neck Injury

Stay connected for news and updates

Kansas City Chiefs LB Cameron Sheffield was carted off the field with a neck injury on Friday night against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Sheffield was tackling RB Mike Bell and landed a helmet-to-helmet hit putting him to the ground.

Chiefs LB Demorrio Williams talked briefly about Sheffield's injury to reporters after the game.

"It was kind of weird because I looked at him and he ain't even moving," Chiefs LB Demorrio Williams softly told us after the game. "His eyes and stuff like that...he's just looking. I was worried about him because he's like a little brother. Everyday I'm in a meeting room with him and practice with him every day. You always hate to see something like that happen."

Those words from Williams are a sobering end to the Chiefs 20-17 loss to the Eagles. He did say however that Sheffield is moving so that has to be considered a positive considering the alternative.
