Stay connected for news and updates

There was a scary moment on Friday night between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.

Eagles QB Kevin Kolb threw a short pass to RB Mike Bell on the left side of the field. After Bell caught the ball, he turne up field and quickly met Chiefs rookie Cameron Sheffield, who hit Bell helmet-to-helmet.

Sheffield hit the deck and trainers quickly came out to tend to him for 10-15 minutes.

Eventually, a cart was brought out and he was taken away.

Just last week, the Chiefs had a similar situation with Maurice Leggett, who was carted off with a head injury.
