Third Member Of Mizzou Football Program Arrested For DWI

Wow. It has been a heck of a month for the Missouri Tigers football program.

At the beginning of the month, assistant coach Bruce Walker was arrested for driving under the influence. In the middle of the month, LB Will Ebner was arrested for driving under the influence.

A third member of the Mizzou football program has been arrested for driving under the influence at the end of the month, according to Mike DeArmond of the Kansas City Star.

The Missouri Highway Patrol said Beau Brinkley — MU’s long snapper and a reserve tight end — was arrested at 12:22 a.m. Sunday in Columbia and charged with DWI. Brinkley also was cited for having improperly tinted windows on his vehicle.

Brinkley was injured last week and had his arm in a sling at last Thursday's scrimmage so he may not have been able to play in the season opener against Illinois anyway.

Mizzou officials said they were aware of the issue and would handle any discipline internally.

That sounds familiar.
