Jeff Francouer's name came up around the 2010 MLB trade deadline. At the time he was with the Mets (he was traded to the Rangers this week) and the Dayton Moore connection -- they were both with the Braves -- had come calling.

You know by now Francouer never made it to Kansas City.

In 2011, however, there are predictions he'll be a Royal.

One NL club official, on Francoeur in '11: "He'll be a Royal. Guaranteed."

So don't be surprised if you hear Francouer's name again.
