The Kansas City Chiefs depth chart the last two weeks has had starting right tackle Ryan O'Callaghan listed as injured. He's been out with some sort of foot injury and didn't participate in practice on Monday.
Even though he's been out, the latest depth chart has O'Callaghan as the first team right tackle. He's not listed as injured.
That doesn't necessarily mean for sure he will or will not play but it does suggest that he'll be ready for the season opener.
This would be huge for the Chiefs if O'Callaghan can play.
If he weren't ready to play, it would likely mean some roster shuffling because the Chiefs only have Barry Richardson as the extra offensive tackle. On the left side, it's Branden Albert. On the right side, it's O'Callaghan. Richardson is backing them both up
That's not a very large number of offensive tackles so if O'Callaghan wasn't ready you would think the Chiefs would have someone ready to roll as a backup.
They haven't done that yet. O'Callaghan is listed as healthy on the depth chart.
That appears to mean he's going to play...but don't expect Todd Haley to confirm that.

It appears that LB Derrick Johnson will start for the Kansas City Chiefs against the San Diego Chargers on Monday Night Football this week.
Johnson and LB Demorrio Williams had been involved in a training camp battle this offseason. It's been among the most intense with both players stating their case to start on Monday night.
The Chiefs coaching staff reportedly told Johnson he would be starting against the Chargers. He was running with the first team at practice on Monday along with Jovan Belcher.
Belcher has been in the game whenever DJ is so we're assuming Belcher will be given the starting nod as well.
Meanwhile it was Casey Wiegmann lining up at the first team center. Considering this is now a game week, and you probably want your starters working together, it could be a good bet Wiegmann is starting as well.
If that's the case, then the only other position battle we're really waiting on is at fullback, where Tim Castille is currently listed on the first team and Mike Cox on the second team.
Starting right tackle Ryan O'Callaghan is currently injured and not practicing so if he can't go on Monday night it would be Barry Richardson taking his spot. After that, the Chiefs wouldn't have any other backup tackles.
