Every since the Oakland Raiders traded for Carson Palmer there was the question about if Palmer would be starting against the Kansas City Chiefs this Sunday. There were reports on Oct. 19 that said Palmer would be starting for the Raiders on Sunday, but now that may not be the case.
According to NFL.com's Steve Wyche, a league source went as far to say, "It doesn't look like (Palmer) is going to play." It is unclear if the source meant Palmer would not play at all or just not start. The other quarterbacks on the roster are Kyle Boller and rookie Terrell Pryor.
However, head coach Hue Jackson has been keeping the starting quarterback under wraps did say on Friday that he does know who the starting quarterback will be, but he also said that the Raiders could play multiple quarterbacks on Sunday against the Chiefs.
