The Tigers took an early 7-0 lead on a six yard run from Josey in the first quarter. Baylor came back with a long drive that was foiled when Robert Griffin III fumbled into the endzone for a touchback. The Bears would tie things up early in the second quarter when Griffin III found Terrance Williams across the middle for a touchdown. Baylor marched back down the field and scored with Griffin's plunge into the end zone.

Missouri Vs. Baylor Score: Henry Josey Gives Tigers Early Lead 7-0

Missouri's Henry Josey capped off a big first quarter with a six yard touchdown run to put the Missouri Tigers in front of the Baylor Bears 7-0 at the end of the first quarter. The Tigers were able to stop a long Baylor drive when Bears' quarterback Robert Griffin III fumbled into the end zone for a touchback.

Josey has 65 yards rushing in the first quarter on just six carries as the Tigers doubled up on the Bears in terms of time of possession. James Franklin completed 5 of 9 passes for 42 yards and ran for 32 more. Most importantly, the Tigers are winning the turnover battle as they can ill afford to give Griffin III extra opportunities with the football.

Griffin III threw for 91 yards and ran for 38 more in the first quarter but it was his fumble that stalled out Baylor's best drive of the game.

Is Stopping Robert Griffin The Biggest Key For Missouri Chances Of Beating Baylor?

You'd think that slowing down Robert Griffin would be the best way to beat Baylor, but since that is nearly impossible, maybe the Missouri defense should focus their efforts elsewhere.

Missouri Vs. Baylor Game Time, TV Schedule, Spread And More

The epitome of the Big 12's sometimes-earned stereotype of being an offense first, defense-free league will meet in Waco on Saturday, when Robert Griffin III trades blows with Gary Pinkel's spread offense. SB Nation's Bill C. reports that if you're not a fan of either school and free of any investments (not that any of us wager money on the outcomes of sporting events), this game's back-and-forth will make for great viewing:

What could be most interesting about this game is the simple fact that no lead of any kind will be safe. Baylor played horribly with the lead against teams like TCU and Kansas State, but they are relentless and will keep charging on offense. Meanwhile, Mizzou has been both susceptible to second-quarter droughts and prone to incredible fourth-quarter surges. No matter the score, keep watching. These two teams play with high pace and resiliency, and they will put on a fun show, even if "fun" in this case means "stressful" for the fanbases involved.

Game date, time: Saturday, November 5, 6pm ET

Location: Floyd Casey Stadium, Waco, Texas

TV: FSN

Radio: Mizzou Tiger Radio Network

Streaming: none

Spread: Baylor (-2.5)

Missouri Vs. Baylor Odds: Tigers Are Slight Road Underdogs

In a match-up between two teams at the bottom of the Big 12 bowl picture, the Missouri Tigers will travel to Waco to play the Baylor Bears as +3 underdogs

The line opened at +1.5, but bettors have been favoring Baylor, despite Missouri's dramatic second-half comeback at Texas A&M last weekend.

James Franklin, the Tigers' starting sophomore QB, rebounded from a four-turnover performance against Oklahoma State to score four TD's against the Aggies, two on the ground and two through the air. Sophomore RB Henry Josey complemented him on offense, with 20 carries for 146 yards and 1 TD.

Both Franklin and Josey are Texas natives, a product of Gary Pinkel's emphasis on making recruiting inroads in the talent-rich state, and both will be looking for another big game in their home state.

Opposing them will be Baylor's own high-powered offense, which features star QB Robert Griffin III, who has completed passes at a 75.4% clip while throwing 23 TD's to only 4 INT's this season.

However, both teams have below .500 records in the Big 12, primarily because of defenses that have not been able to keep up with pass-heavy spread offenses that have come to define the conference. As a result, the over/under for this game, which could easily last four hours, is 73 points.

A win on Saturday would be huge for both teams' post-season chances, as each is sitting at four wins and facing a tough conference schedule to close out the year.
