The Kansas City Chiefs playoff chances increased after upsetting the Green Bay Packers last week, and if they can get past the Oakland Raiders this week then the Chiefs put themselves one step closer to winning the AFC West. The Chiefs will still need help to make the playoffs as they need the Denver Broncos to lose this week and the San Diego Chargers to lose at least one of their last two games to have a shot at the playoffs. In Week 17 the Chiefs take on the Broncos and if things fall into place it could be for the AFC West crown. However, in order to get to that point the Chiefs must get past the Raiders this weekend before any serious playoff talk can take place
The Chiefs have some hope against the Raiders as they will be without starting running back Darren McFadden who has not played since Oct. 23 and there is a chance his backup Michael Bush could be out as well. Bush is listed as questionable on the injury report with a shoulder injury, however head coach Hue Jackson has said that Bush will suit up and play. The backup running spot will fall to either Rock Cartwright or Taiwan Jones.
