In a piece of news that’s bound to bring up questions of cosmic forces at work trying to right the wrongs of athletes who’ve been stomped on everywhere, Ndamukong Suh was in a minor car accident today and was not injured in any way. As Jason Quick reports, “Suh’s car hit a light pole, a drinking fountain and a tree. Officers determined Suh was not impaired and simply lost control of vehicle.”
Suh was recently suspended two games and his appeal was denied, meaning Suh is going to have to sit against the Saints this week in a game that Detroit can ill afford to lose for playoff positioning. It’s been a bad week for Suh and it’s clear that he’s going to have significant time to think. From an outside perspective, it’s clear the tea leaves are trying to tell him something. Or maybe he just had a minor car wreck.
