Samuel Chi has revealed his latest BCS Projected Rankings at SB Nation and the results are very good for a Kansas State team that won its 10th game yesterday against the Iowa State Cyclones. The team clinched second place in a tough Big 12 this season, showing they have more talent and determination than anyone saw in the preseason. It’s also due to the masterful coaching job of Bill Snyder.
That makes K-State one of the biggest winners on Saturday. Chi writes, “There’s nothing all that spectacular or attractive about the Wildcats, but they did finish 10-2, second in the Big 12 Conference. And they travel well. With the Fiesta Bowl having the opportunity to decide on the last at-large entry, it will ultimately take K-State and its Big 12 affiliation over Boise State, which has already played in two Fiesta Bowls in the last five years.”
Currently they sit in the No. 8 position in Chi’s rankings. Here’s his complete Top 20:
1. LSU
2. Oklahoma State
3. Alabama
4. Stanford
5. Oregon
6. Boise State
7. Arkansas
8. Kansas State
9. South Carolina
10. Wisconsin

The Kansas State Wildcats put away a very persistent Iowa State football team on Sunday and in doing so, the team grabbed their tenth win of the season. It’s definitely one of the high marks in Bill Snyder’s celebrated head coaching career and it’s also a sign of just how dangerous this K-State team can be with Collin Klein at the wheel. They should be rewarded today with an upward move through the BCS Standings.
Samuel Chi has the latest BCS Projections from SB Nation and Kansas State currently sits at No. 8 overall. That means they’ll be playing in a major BCS bowl. Here’s his top 20 in the BCS:

SB Nation’s Samuel Chi has officially unveiled his own BCS Projections for today and there’s good news after all for Oklahoma State fans. They crash the party if he’s correct and play for the national championship game on January 9. Of course, this is at odds with another set of rankings we just posted, which just goes to show that no one really knows what’s going to happen. It also makes tonight’s BCS Standings announcement at 7:30pm on ESPN a must-watch event. Oh, the drama.
The Cowboys of OSU beat the Sooners of Oklahoma enough for Chi to predict the team to move above the Alabama Crimson Tide, who sat still this week on a bye. They will resent that scheduling move if that’s the case in tonight’s BCS.
Here’s the SB Nation BCS Projections:
1. LSU
2. Oklahoma State
3. Alabama
4. Stanford
5. Oregon
6. Boise State
7. Arkansas
8. Kansas State

10. Wisconsin

12. Virginia Tech
13. Michigan
