Mike Vrabel Arrested For Theft At Indiana Casino

Stay connected for news and updates

Kansas City Chiefs LB Mike Vrabel was arrested early on Monday for theft, Pro Football Talk first reported. I've since confirmed the arrest through Vrabel's agent. We're short on details of what happened but it occurred at an Indiana casino.

Vrabel was booked at 5:28 a.m. and released at 10:30 a.m. I contacted Vrabel's agent and he issued the following statement on behalf of Vrabel:

"It was an unfortunate misunderstanding, and I take full responsibility for the miscommunication.  I feel comfortable that after talking with the appropriate parties, we will resolve this matter."

It's unclear exactly what happened and his agent declined to offer more details.

Vrabel is a member of the NFLPA's executive committee and has been an active member of the latest round of negotiations in the labor dispute between the owners and players.
