Coming off a 3-3 draw on Saturday against the Vancouver Whitecaps, Sporting KC again takes to the pitch this evening against the Houston Dynamo in the U.S. Open Cup. Sporting sits at 1-1-1 thus far in the early MLS season.
Injuries have troubled Sporting so far, and coach Peter Vermes expects to be without Julio Cesar, Chance Myers, Ryan Smith, and Graham Zusi this evening.
