According to a tweet from the Kansas City Royals, they have acquired relief pitcher Felipe Paulino from the Colorado Rockies for cash considerations.
Paulino, 27, had been designated for assignment by Colorado on May 21st.
In four seasons with both Colorado and the Houston Astros, Paulino is 6-25 with a 5.93 ERA. To complete the deal, Kansas City has designated Robinson Tejeda for assignment.
