Thunder Vs. Mavericks Final Score: OKC Falls 100-87 Despite 27 Points From Kevin Durant

Oklahoma City tasted defeat for the first time this season as the Dallas Mavericks shot their way to a 100-87 win. The Thunder drop to 5-1 on the season and couldn't keep up with the hot shooting of the Mavericks.

Dirk Nowitzki scored 16 of his 26 points in the second half as the Mavericks turned a seven point halftime advantage into a 13 point lead heading to the fourth. Shawn Marion added 17 points for Dallas while Jason Terry and Vince Carter came off the bench to score 15 and 14 respectively.

Kevin Durant scored a game-high 27 points for the Thunder on 10-21 shooting. Russell Westbrook finished with 18 points but needed 20 shot attempts to do so. James Harden tossed in 16 points off the bench and also finished with seven rebounds and three assists.
