Thunder Vs. Nets Final Score: Oklahoma City Defeat New Jersey 84-74

The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the New Jersey Nets 84-74 on the back of Russell Westbrook who scored 21 points on nine for 21 shooting. Kevin Durant who scored 20 points snot a nearly the same percentage from the field as Westbrook by making nine of 22 shots, but Durant one upped Westbrook by missing all six of his three-point attempts. Durant also pulled down a career-high 18 rebounds.

Despite the poor shooting percentage by the Thunder, they shot 41 percent as a team, they were not as bad as the Nets who connected on only 31 percent of their shots.

The Thunder used a 17-2 run at the end of the first quarter to take the lead against New Jersey and from there they never looked back. The lead for the Thunder after one quarter was 10 points, and that lead was then extended to 13 points with a halftime score of 48-35. In the second half the Thunder's defense kept the Nets from gaining too much ground.

The Nets were led by Derron Williams and MarShon Brooks who each had 14 points, however starting center Mehmet Okur played 26 minutes and while he had nine rebounds he went scoreless on the night.

This was the Thunder's sixth straight win over the Nets.
