Royals first baseman Eric Hosmer will miss Tuesday's game with Detroit due to with a strained right rotator cuff. Third baseman Mike Moustakas will also sit Tuesday after re-aggravating his left groin in Monday's loss.

The Tigers clinched the AL Central with a win over Kansas City Monday, and lost Tuesday's starting pitcher, Max Scherzer in the process.
Tigers manager said Scherzer's foot was stepped on during the celebration Monday, and will miss tonight's start. Doug Fister will start in his place.
