Missouri's Alyssa Diggs named SEC Soccer co-Offensive Player of the Week

After a two-goal performance against Kentucky, Missouri Tigers junior Alyssa Diggs won SEC co-Offensive player of the week.

Following a two-goal performance against the Kentucky Wildcats over the weekend, Missouri Tigers junior Alyssa Diggs won the SEC co-Offensive player of the week award. Alyssa scored both goals for the Tigers during their 2-1 win over the Wildcats, including the game winning goal just under eight minutes into overtime, and also contributed to a 2-0 win over Mississippi State two days after that.

The Tigers are 12-2 so far on the season after their win against Mississippi State.

Lauren Flynn and Candice Johnson have also been awarded SEC weekly honors this season, with both of them getting an SEC Freshman of the Week honor earlier in the season.

Missouri will play two more SEC games over the weekend when they face off against the Florida Gators on Friday at 6 p.m. CT, and then the Alabama Crimson Tide on Sunday at noon CT.
