Kansas women's basketball head coach Bonnie Henrickson wins 300th game

Kansas Jayhawks women's head basketball coach Bonnie Henrickson notched her 300th career victory in Kansas' 76-59 win over Alabama A&M Friday night.

Kansas' Bonnie Henrickson notched the 300th win of her career as the Lady Jayhawks beat the Alabama A&M Bulldogs, 76-59, Friday night at Allen Fieldhouse.

Henrickson is currently in her ninth year coaching the Jayhawks and 16th year overall as a head coach. She coached at Virginia Tech from 1997-2004 before heading to Lawrence. The Jayhawks are coming off a 21-13 record and a Sweet 16 appearance last season.

Friday's game also saw senior Carolyn Davis score 19 points, moving her to 12th all-time in scoring for the Jayhawks. Davis scored those 19 points in just 20 minutes of play. The 76 points the Jayhawks scored are its highest of the season. Angel Goodrich added 15 points and eight assists.

The win moved the Jayhawks to 4-0 on the season. Kansas returns to action Sunday when they travel to Omaha to face Creighton.
