Even with a bye week separating Kansas St. from their disastrous 52-24 loss to Baylor, the BlogPoll voters haven't forgotten, and Bill Snyder's squad has another rankings drop as a result.
The Kansas St. Wildcats dipped again in the SB Nation BlogPoll this week, falling two spots to No. 7 with the Florida Gators and Ohio St. Buckeyes jumping them in the standings.
It seems the voters of the BlogPoll aren't done punishing the Wildcats (10-1, 7-1) for their 52-24 loss on Nov. 17 to the Baylor Bears. With a bye this past week, there was no game for Kansas St. to redeem itself in the eyes of the voters. Their chance comes Saturday, when they host the No. 25 Texas Longhorns at Bill Snyder Stadium in Manhattan. With a strong performance against the Longhorns, maybe Snyder's squad can climb up a few slots before bowl season.
The Missouri Tigers (5-7, 2-6 in SEC play) and Kansas Jayhawks (1-10, 0-8) did not factor in the rankings.
Here's the entire BlogPoll for this week.
