The Kansas St. Wildcats hope to pull off an upset in Kansas City on Saturday against the Florida Gators.
The Kansas St. Wildcats are looking to pull off a big upset on Saturday as they face the Florida Gators at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO.
The Gators are ranked No. 8 in the country and are 8-1 on the season. Florida's only loss came last week against the Arizona Wildcats, losing 65-64 on the road.
The Billy Donovan squad prides itself on playing tough defense, as they have yet to allow more than 66 points to an opponent all season. With the Wildcats current struggles on offense, this game projects as a low-scoring affair.
The Gators have a balanced offense, with four players averaging double-digit points per game. Senior guard Mike Rosario leads the team in scoring , averaging 12.9 points per game while shooting 48% from the field. Fellow senior guard Kenny Boynton joins Rosario in the backcourt, as he averages 12.6 points and 2.8 assists per game.
Game Time: Saturday, Dec. 22; 7 p.m. CT
Location: Sprint Center; Kansas City, MO
TV: ESPN2
