The cut has been made, the field has been pared down and the Masters will begin to get very serious for Saturday's third round. The famed green jacket is within view for those near the top, and this is where heroes are made and failures are magnified. Welcome to the third day at Augusta.

For local golfers, things have not gone too well through two rounds. Tom Watson is out as is Chaz Reavie. Gary Woodland remains in the hunt, so he's the name to follow if you're rooting for golfers with local ties.
