Kevin Na and Matt Kuchar are ahead of the pack at The Players Championship at Sawgrass through three rounds, while local players Chez Reavie and Gary Woodland missed the cut heading into today's action. As for Tiger Woods, he's currently at two-under and tied for 34th place.
TPC is typically referred to as the fifth major, since it's the largest payout on the PGA Tour, so there's a lot at stake for the golfers left in the competition. Woodland was frustrated after trying to come back from a wrist injury and he wasn't able to make it work at Sawgrass earlier this week.
“It’s probably the most frustrated I’ve ever been on the golf course,” he said. “I feel like I’m playing OK half the time, and the rest of the time I feel like I’m lost. It’s not a good sign.”
