Update: Full Preakness results are here. I'll Have Another looks to continue his run at the 2012 Triple Crown on Saturday, as the Preakness is set to be held on Saturday, May 19.

It's time for horse racing fans to bust out their Black-Eyed Susans, as the 2012 Preakness is set to be hold on Saturday, May 19. The huge storyline around the Preakness every year is if the Kentucky Derby winner can capture the second leg of horse racing's Triple Crown, and this year, I'll Have Another will look to do just that.

The post positions were drawn on Wednesday evening, and they are as follows:

  1. Tiger Walk
  2. Teeth of the Dog
  3. Pretension
  4. Zetterholm
  5. Went The Day Well
  6. Creative Cause
  7. Bodemeister
  8. I'll Have Another
  9. Daddy Nose Best
  10. Optimizer
  11. Cozzetti
All eyes will be on post positions seven and nine to start the race. Bodemeister is the favorite to win the race, as he was given 8/5 odds, but I'll Have Another is the horse looking at making history, as he looks to win the second leg of the 2012 Triple Crown.

Televised coverage begins on NBC at 3:30 p.m. CT. Post time is scheduled for 5:17 p.m. CT, 6:17 p.m. locally in Baltimore. Horse racing enthusiasts would be wise to be sure to be by a television a little earlier than 6:15, as horse races go by very, very quickly.
