2012 Big 12 Baseball Tournament Schedule: Kansas, Kansas State Are Still Alive
The Big 12 baseball tournament features a pair of elimination games on Friday with the winners advancing to the semifinals on Saturday. No. 7 seeded Kansas and No. 8 seeded Kansas State are still alive after pulling off upsets to avoid elimination from Thursday.
Kansas sent No. 3 Texas home by defeating the Longhorns 4-2, and now the reward for Kansas is to face top-seeded Baylor who fell to No. 4 seeded Oklahoma for the fourth straight time.
Kansas State advanced by defeating No. 5 seed Oklahoma State 11-5 to advance, and now face No. 2 seeded Texas A&M in the second game Friday night.
Friday's 2012 Big 12 baseball tournament schedule (all times central):
- No. 1 Baylor vs. No. 8 Kansas State, 3:15 p.m.
- No. 2 Texas A&M vs. No. 7 Kansas, 7 p.m.
