It wasn't the race that everyone was hoping for, with the scratch and eventual retirement of I'll Have Another from contention of a possible Triple Crown in 2012. However, the Belmont Stakes still featured some exciting down to the wire action and Union Rags, a favorite heading into the Kentucky Derby this year, ended up earning some glory of his own in the end.
