The 2012 U.S. Open officially got underway on Thursday morning in San Francisco, California. Though the superstar trio of Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Bubba Watson are currently struggling, it's not too early to start looking at the leaderboard and get a gauge of where scores could be headed throughout the day in the first round.
Americans Kevin Na and Jason Bohn are currently tied atop the leaderboard through their first eight holes with a score of -2. It's worth noting that Na started on the back nine, while Bohn started on the front nine.
Woods, through his first seven holes, sits at +1, while Mickelson and Watson are both +3.
Currently, seven golfers are under par. Na and Bohn currently lead the field with their scores of -2, but Branden Grace, Davis Love III, Padraig Harrington, Joe Ogilvie, and Marc Warren are all right behind them at -1.
