Oklahoma City Thunder basketball star James Harden is getting his first taste of Olympic competition this summer. He and his U.S. teammates, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, will be helping to defend Team USA's 2008 gold medal from Beijing.
While the team is preparing and taking in the Olympic experience, their NBA star power has prevented them from staying with the rest of the athletes at the Olympic Village. But some of the players have ventured over, including Harden who met up with two of his Arizona State bretheren according to the Sporting News:
"I took a picture with them last night," Harden said. "It's great, very unique for the Sun Devils to have so many players in the Olympics. It just shows you what type of school that it is. Great school."
