Missouri Football: Dorial Green-Beckham Earning Praise From Gary Pinkel

With all eyes transfixed on freshman receiver Dorial Green-Beckham as he acclimates himself to Missouri's spread attack, it's only a matter of time before coaches and teammates alike begin to stop and take notice of the No. 1 overall recruit in the class of 2012's immense physical gifts.

And after what could be described as a slow start in camp, Tigers head coach Gary Pinkel confirmed on Monday that his star receiver's play is really starting to pick up as the pace of practice begins to increase. "He’s playing better," Pinkel told The Kansas City Star. "You’ve got to be able to just go and fly...we know he can do that. And today, after his first scrimmage, I thought he really upped it a bit."

Green-Beckham is touted as having 4.4 speed to go with his massive 6-foot-6, 220-pound frame, and is expected to wreak havoc in the Tigers' pass-heavy system from all parts of the field. Pinkel knows full well that the No. 1 recruit in America doesn't exactly waltz on through Missouri's campus like this on a yearly basis, so it's a safe bet that Pinkel and his staff are prepared to throw as much as possible at their talented youngster right away.
