An SB Nation list of the top 20 fantasy tight ends for the 2012 season does not feature a Chiefs player.
A recent post on SB Nation's fantasy football hub ranks the top fantasy tight ends for the 2012 NFL season. The list of 20 tight ends did not feature a Chiefs player and it seems unlikely that a Kansas City tight end gets drafted in most fantasy drafts.
The two top tight end targets for Matt Cassel in 2012 will likely be Kevin Boss and Tony Moeaki, but neither has proven himself a reliable fantasy target so far.
Boss played in 14 games for the Raiders in 2011, starting 11, but tallied just three touchdowns and 28 receptions for the season. Moeaki has more potential as a fantasy target after missing the entire 2011 season due to injury, and had slightly better stats than Boss' 2011 season during his rookie year.
Regardless, both players are better options as waiver-wire pickups than draft picks.
