A weekend sweep of the White Sox saw the Royals move into third place in the AL Central. Kansas City will look to keep their strong play going as they head out on a seven-game East Coast road trip, beginning in Tampa Bay.

The Kansas City Royals are starting to gain some momentum, posting a stunning three-game sweep of the first-place Chicago White Sox over the weekend that moved Kansas City past the free-falling Cleveland Indians into third place in the American League Central.

The road trip continues on Thursday when Kansas City will begin a four-game series in Boston against the Red Sox.
