Cat Barber Has Kansas Jayhawks First On Visit List

Anthony "Cat" Barber has announced his official visit itinerary, and he'll be making his way to Kansas first.

Barber's mother spilled the beans to SNY.tv on Wednesday, announcing that her son will visit Kansas officially from Aug. 31 to Sept. 2. Barber will also visit Louisville (Sept. 7-9), North Carolina State (Sept. 14-16), and Alabama (Sept. 21-23).

Barber is reportedly interested in playing collegiately with high school teammate Troy Williams, according to sources.

"I don't think Kansas has offered Troy yet," Hampton assistant Mark Godwin said. "I know Alabama and Louisville have. With the schools that they have now, it would be more toward Alabama or Louisville.

"If Kansas offered Troy, there's a good chance that they could play together."

He added: "[Kansas] has the kid Andrew White and they play the same position. I don't know if Kansas would be a good fit for Troy."

Barber, on the other hand, could get immediate playing time at Kansas.

Though Barber may prefer to play with his friend now, his official visits could sway him to attend school without Williams.
