On Tuesday morning the Chiefs announced the second NFL Play 60 winning school of the year and will honor Prairie View Elementary School in Lee's Summit for "exemplifying the Chiefs Play 60 ideals of eating right and staying active." Members of the Chiefs Community Caring Team will be in attendance that will include Chiefs quarterback Ricky Stanzi along with KC Wolf for the event.
Throughout the season the Chiefs will recognize one local school each week for its efforts on focusing on making healthy lifestyle choices. For their efforts, Prairie View Elementary will receive a congratulatory assembly.
Schools in the Kansas City region that exhibit healthy lifestyle choices that include healthy eating and physical activity, are eligible to win a school assembly from the Chiefs Community Caring Team by sending pictures and narratives of how they Play 60 to the Chiefs.
