The Chargers are all over the Chiefs after the first 15 minutes in Kansas City Sunday as they lead 17-0.
San Diego marched down the field on the Chargers' first possession, driving 76 yards ending in a Phillip Rivers touchdown pass to Eddie Royal. Matt Cassel and the Chiefs offense faltered in their first drive, throwing an interception to Eric Weddle, which he returned 21 yards. The turnover resulted in a Nick Novak field goal that extended San Diego's lead to 10-0.
Rivers has had a nice day so far, completing eight passes on eleven attempts for 102 yards and a TD. Cassel's numbers haven't been as productive, going 5 of 8 for 28 yards and that interception.
Kansas City will try and get on the board as they will start the second quarter with the ball.
