In a day that saw many upsets, No. 18 Oklahoma State University ended up being involved in one of them. OSU didn't have an answer of a University of Arizona offense that was able to beat them on the ground and in the air. In a high scoring battle, the Wildcats would upset the Cowboys, 59-38.
Looking at the box score, Cowboys' quarterback Wes Lunt had a pretty good game. He was 36-for-58 for 441 yards and four touchdowns. Pretty good if you don't factor in the three interceptions he threw. Putting the ball back in Arizona's was a bad, bad thing to do. It seemed as if the Cowboys would gain ground on the Wildcats, 'Zona would score on the next series. OSU didn't help themselves by being called for 12 penalties for a total of 138 yards.
Come Monday, the Cowboys will no longer be ranked No. 18. A loss to an unranked opponent doesn't sit well with the magic elves at the BCS. They look to rebound next week at home against the University of Louisiana - Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns.

No. 18 Oklahoma State is in danger of being upset by the Arizona Wildcats on Saturday night, with the Cowboys trailing 23-14 at the half.
The Cowboys opened the scoring on the first drive of the game with a Wes Lunt 9-yard touchdown pass to Tracy Moore. They would later take a 14-0 lead just a few minutes later on another Lunt to Moore connection. It seemed as if the rout was on, but Arizona would respond, scoring 23 unanswered points as the Cowboys offense suddenly lost its way.
Lunt is 12-of-20 for 110 and two touchdowns, as well as an interception thrown late in the half inside Arizona territory. Oklahoma State was also undone by penalties (seven in the first half) and costly turnovers that allowed Arizona to take control of the game.
The Cowboys have struggled to contain Arizona quarterback Matt Scott, who is 17-of-25 for 198 yards and a touchdown in the first half, with the Wildcats adding 84 yards on the ground.
Arizona will receive the ball after the half.
