Chiefs wide receiver Jonathan Baldwin was held out of practice Thursday with a sore hamstring, something that's affected him since last week.

Chiefs wide receiver Jonathan Baldwin missed Kansas City's practice session Thursday with a hamstring injury. It's the same injury that limited him on Wednesday and slowed him down before KC's Week 5 loss to Baltimore.

Quarterback Matt Cassel was officially ruled out Thursday as well, confirming Brady Quinn will get his first start in a Chiefs uniform in preparation for Kansas City's Week 6 game against Tampa Bay.

Running back Peyton Hillis (ankle), defensive end Glenn Dorsey (calf) and wide receiver Devon Wylie (hamstring) all missed practice both Wednesday and Thursday, making their participation largely dependent on their ability to get through Friday's practice at full speed.

Defensive back Kendrick Lewis (shoulder) has practiced fully Wednesday and Thursday, making it likely he'll play Sunday. Offensive guard Ryan Lilja (back) was limited both Wednesday and Thursday, but he was able to participate.

Running back Cyrus Gray (illness) missed practice unexpectedly Thursday, but he hasn't been ruled out for Friday.
