With five of their six division games yet to be played, Kansas City is still very much alive despite sitting in third place.

The Chiefs' comeback win at Indianapolis helped them keep pace with the Raiders, who scored an upset win at Houston, as both teams chase division leading San Diego in the AFC West standings.

Kansas City moves to 2-3 for their bye week, but begin a crucial two game stretch starting next Sunday with the Raiders. A win would give the Chiefs a tie for second place in the AFC West and a potential tie-breaker advantage. After a trip to Oakland, the Chiefs will host division leading San Diego on October 31 for Monday Night Football. The Chargers beat K.C. 20-17 three weeks ago.
