With the Kansas City Chiefs upset over the Green Bay Packers it moved the Chiefs back into the discussion for a playoff spot if they can win out and get some help. The Chiefs are sitting at last place in the AFC West and need a lot of help to make the playoffs, but with their last two games against AFC West  against the Oakland Raiders and Denver Broncos there is the possibility of finishing 8-8.

Even if the Chiefs can climb to 8-8 on the season there would be tiebreakers involved and they could be lengthy since the Chiefs could split the head-to-head matchup between the Broncos and Chiefs. They have already split with the Chargers and with a Week 17 win over the Broncos will have split the matchup between those two teams. There are a lot scenarios, but a win over the Raiders this week is the most important and will keep the Chiefs playoff hopes alive.
