Kansas City Chiefs fans react to KC's blowout loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

New week, same result for the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, as the Chiefs lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 38-10. Unlike the other five weeks of the season, Brady Quinn started at quarterback for Kansas City, starting in place of the injured Matt Cassel.

Chiefs fans found out on Sunday that Quinn simply isn't any better than Cassel. Joel Thorman over at Arrowhead Pride, SB Nation's Chiefs blog, illustrated that Quinn's start was "Cassel-esque."

Quinn's line was very Cassel-esque: 22-of-38 passes completed, 180 yards, 0 touchdowns, 2 interceptions

Like Cassel, Quinn's favorite target was Dwayne Bowe, looking his way nine times. Bowe finished the game with 21 yards on only three receptions though. His longest reception was for...eight yards. Dexter McCluster saw eight targets from Quinn, catching six of them for 39 yards. The leading receiver in this game was Steve Maneri. Yes, the offensive tackle who converted back to tight end led the Chiefs with 45 yards on four receptions.

Cassel suffered a concussion in Kansas City's Week 5 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, and opted to play it safe and hold Cassel out of at least one game -- especially with Kansas City's bye week coming in Week 7.

Through Kansas City's first five games, Cassel completed just 103-of-176 passes for 1,150 yards, while throwing five touchdowns against nine interceptions, and fumbling four times.

Romeo Crennel's squad will enter the Week 7 bye week in search of answers at the quarterback position. The Chiefs will look to turn their season around, beginning in Week 8, when they host the Oakland Raiders.
