Ben Roethlisberger injury update: Steelers QB's status uncertain vs. Ravens

The Pittsburgh Steelers were able to walk away from Monday night with a victory but they might have lost a greater battle with the news that Ben Roethlisberger, the team's starting quarterback, has a sprained shoulder injury on his throwing arm. That means his status is uncertain for the team's next game in Week 11 against the Baltimore Ravens, their AFC North division rivals.

Roethlisberger left in the third quarter after getting hit by Kansas City Chiefs linebackers Tamba Hali and Justin Houston on the same play. Byron Leftwich came into the game and played the duration of the Monday Night Football contest since the team sent Roethlisberger back to the locker room.

Big Ben was 9 of 18 before he was hit and the rainy weather made for a poor night for each team's quarterback. Leftwich would presumably get the start against the Ravens should Roethlisberger be pronounced out for any length of time.
