Broncos injury report: Demaryius Thomas, Ronnie Hillman probable vs. Chiefs

Doug Pensinger

Key Denver skill-position players participated in practice and should be available Sunday at Kansas City.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas and running back Ronnie Hillman have both been listed as probable for Sunday's game against Kansas City. Thomas injured his knee in practice earlier this week, but participated in full practice on Thursday and Friday and should play Sunday. He needs just 67 yards to top 1000 receiving yards for the season, a mark he has never previously reached.

Hillman has been dealing with a nagging hamstring injury throughout the season, but participated in practice throughout the week and should be available. He became necessary to the Denver offense when starting halfback Willis McGahee went down with a torn MCL last week. Hillman has 49 carries for 188 yards and one score in his rookie season, after being drafted by the Broncos in the third round of the 2012 draft. If he does play as expected Sunday, he will likely start in place of McGahee.

Cornerback Omar Bolden is the only player on the Broncos roster listed as questionable, following a concussion in last week's game with San Diego.
