Former Alabama Crimson Tide running back Trent Richardson is once again being linked to the Kansas City Chiefs with their first round pick. Running back is a position of need for the Chiefs especially since Jamaal Charles is coming off of a torn ACL, so depth will be needed to help ease the carry load for Charles.
Walter Football has the Chiefs taking Richardson with their first round picks:
Walter Football's mock draft goes four rounds deep and the second round selection address the Chiefs need for help on the offensive line since their current right tackle Barry Richardson is not getting the job done and Walter Football has the Chiefs taking Florida St. Seminoles right tackle Zebrie Sanders.
The third round pick is Iowa State running back Leonard Johnson and could be a need if the Chiefs can not resign Brandon Carr, and the fourth round projected pick is Missouri tight end Michael Egnew. Tight end is a need for the Chiefs since Tony Moeaki is coming off an ACL injury.
