According to the Kansas City Star's Kent Babb, the Kansas City Chiefs have shown interested in Houston Texans free agent right tackle Eric Winston, but they have not scheduled a visit yet. Winston is currently visiting the Miami Dolphins.

The Chiefs need to find a new right tackle as Barry Richardson is coming off a terrible season and is now a free agent. Winston, who was released from the Texans on Monday in an attempt to get under the salary cap, could be a major upgrade for Kansas City in 2012.
