Stay connected for news and updates

Earlier on Saturday the Kansas City Chiefs announced that they had signed right tackle Eric Winston who was released this past week by the Houston Texans. The details of the contract have now been release with Winston and the Chiefs agreeing on a four-year contract worth $22 million. The specific details of guaranteed money and the amount per year have not been disclosed.

Winston was signed to help improve the Chiefs offensive line which was a sore spot for the team over the past few years. Winston is already being slotted as the starting right tackle to replace Barry Richardson. Richardson was the Chiefs starting right tackle the past two seasons and has had issues in pass protection and is currently a free agent.
